چکیده

Background First pass perfusion CMR is a well-validated technique for the detection of inducible myocardial ischaemia. However, limited data are available on the feasibility of first pass perfusion CMR and quantitative deconvolution analysis in the context of reduced LV function. The aim of this study was to assess effects of reduced LV function and LV dilatation on the characteristics of signal in the left ventricle (arterial input function, AIF) and in the myocardium (MSI), and to test the feasibility of quantitative perfusion analysis with Fermi deconvolution in this cohort of patients.

Quantitative polar representation of left ventricular myocardial perfusion, function and viability using SPECT and cardiac magnetic resonance: initial results.

BACKGROUND The clinical management of patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) often involves a complex assessment of the extent and severity of changes in left ventricular (LV) myocardial perfusion, function and viability. We aimed to explore the feasibility of integrative quantitative representation of LV perfusion, function and viability in adjacent polar plots. In order to assess the cli...

Dipyridamole stress and rest gated 99mTc-sestamibi myocardial perfusion SPECT: left ventricular function indices and myocardial perfusion findings

Introduction: We investigated the difference in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and end-systolic volume(ESV) measured by gated myocardial perfusion SPECT (GSPECT) in the post-dipyridamole stress and rest periods, and compared the results with the perfusion patterns found in the conventional non-gated tomograms. Methods: 297 consecutive patients were studie...

Feasibility of high-resolution quantitative perfusion analysis in patients with heart failure

BACKGROUND Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) is playing an expanding role in the assessment of patients with heart failure (HF). The assessment of myocardial perfusion status in HF can be challenging due to left ventricular (LV) remodelling and wall thinning, coexistent scar and respiratory artefacts. The aim of this study was to assess the feasibility of quantitative CMR myocardial perfusion an...

The Correlation between Left and Right Ventricular Ejection Fractions in Patients with Ischemic Heart Disease, Documented by Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Introduction: The correlation between right and left ventricular ejection fractions (RVEF and LVEF, respectively) has been studied in only a small number of patients with a marked decrease in RVEF and LVEF. The aim of the present study was to compare LVEF and RVEF in patients with ischemic heart disease. RVEF and LVEF were measured by Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR) imaging. Materials a...

Prediction of Changes in Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction after Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Surgery by Myocardial Perfusion Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography

Introduction: Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) is considered to be the single most important prognostic factor in patients with previous myocardial infarction. LVEF is not improved in all patients after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). This study aimed to assess the possibility of prediction of LVEF changes after CABG using myocardial perfusion gated signle photon emission compu...
